Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Lumina, we want you to be satisfied with our AI-powered audience simulation platform. This policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled for subscriptions purchased through console.getlumina.in.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Lumina subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have full access to all paid features until the billing period expires
  • No further charges will be made to your payment method after cancellation
  • Your account will revert to a limited free tier (if available) or become inactive at the end of the period

2. Refund Eligibility

Within 7 Days of Payment

If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, you may request a pro-rated refund within the first 7 days of your paid subscription start date. The refund amount will be calculated based on the unused portion of your billing period, minus any simulation credits already consumed.

After 7 Days

Refund requests made after the first 7 days of a billing cycle are not eligible for a refund. You may still cancel your subscription, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

3. Free Trial

If you signed up for a free trial, you will not be charged during the 7-day trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment will be collected. If you do not cancel, your selected plan will activate automatically at the end of the trial, and your payment method will be charged accordingly.

4. Unused Simulation Credits

Simulation credits included in your subscription are non-refundable. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over to the next cycle. Bonus credits earned through feedback also follow the same expiration rules. Credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to support@getlumina.in with the following information:

  • Your registered email address
  • The date of your subscription purchase
  • Your reason for requesting a refund
  • Any relevant transaction or order ID (found in your billing email or account settings)

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card) used during the transaction. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

7. Chargebacks

We kindly request that you contact us at support@getlumina.in before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in a delay in resolution and could lead to temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is under review. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.

8. Exceptions

We may issue a full refund outside the standard 7-day window in the following circumstances:

  • The Lumina platform was materially unavailable or non-functional for a sustained period (more than 72 consecutive hours) during your billing period, and we were unable to resolve the issue
  • You were charged in error due to a technical or billing system malfunction
  • A duplicate charge was processed for the same billing period

Exceptional refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
